Every Bioy Research report follows a traceable method: primary sources, cross-checks between data points, explicit confidence levels and a clear cut-off date. This page explains how we turn scattered information into an actionable recommendation.
Every report starts from primary and official sources: statistical agencies, public company registries, trade associations, regulatory reports and the companies' own data. We prioritise source data over second-hand figures.
No relevant figure is published from a single source. We cross-check at least two or three independent origins and, when they disagree, we say so rather than picking the most convenient number. Consistency across sources is our quality filter.
Every quantitative figure carries a confidence level: high when it comes from a primary or corroborated source; medium when it comes from a consultancy, trade press or a reasonable estimate; low when it is an operational assumption. We never present an estimate as if it were audited data.
The sector is full of reports with contradictory, inflated market figures. Our commitment is the opposite: when a figure doesn't exist in audited form, we say so clearly. We prefer an honest «there is no reliable public figure» to a number invented to two decimal places.
Where it adds value, we build our own data: verified counts, brand-by-brand competitive maps with information from public registries, and densities we calculate ourselves. We document the method behind each calculation so it is reproducible.
Every report states its data period and its edition date. Markets change; that's why we date everything and publish updated editions instead of letting old figures run without warning.
Every report includes an appendix of sources with their use and confidence level. Our goal is that any claim can be traced back to its origin. For an independent firm, transparency is the most solid form of authority.
